JOB SUMMARY:
The Instructional Designer researches, analyzes, designs, develops and evaluates professional training programs for PCIQ Enterprise Learning customers. Will have a significant role in designing and implementing effective on-line learning tools at customer site locations. Should be familiar with the latest computer-based and web-based training techniques.
DUTIES:
Development of courseware for instructor-led training, computer based, and/or web-based training from needs analysis and development of instructional objectives to the final evaluation of completed courseware.
Ability to conceptualize and script effectively for interactive learning.
Select and design new training programs and materials to meet customer training needs.
Create and maintain effective documentation for assigned training programs including student and instructor guides, visual aids, quick reference material and other materials as required.
Work as a team with other instructional designers , project managers, graphic designers and programmers developing courseware content, storyboards and final product.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in training, communications, education or relevant experience.
At least 3-5 years experience in instructional design for both instructor-led and eLearning applications.
Strong computer and writing skills.
Strong working knowledge of multimedia design products such as Trainersoft, Authorware, Flash and/or Dreamweaver.
Excellent organizational, planning and communications skills are essential, with demonstrated experience working with customers in a training environment.
