JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for helping to create revenue generation opportunities for the company by providing sales support, lead generation, and cold calling activities to prospective clients in the tri-state area.
Working with the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for researching and ensuring a full pipeline of qualified prospects and managing the organization's sales database. Candidates must be comfortable making a minimum of 45 calls a day.
DUTIES:
Responsible for executing sales strategy, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identifying and qualifying prospect needs, presenting and selling appropriate solutions to meet each prospective customers unique needs.
Maintaining a proactive sales contact, continuous follow-up, with all assigned accounts.
Provide sales presentations via telephone conversations.
Maintain a consistent, high volume of outbound/inbound sales calls (min 45 calls/day).
Prepare and monitor weekly sales forecasts to facilitate the achievement of sales goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
BA preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated effective negotiation and closing techniques.
Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative. A high level of urgency is critical for success.
Organization skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
